Depression and Loss of Interest
Case: “Samar and the Heavy Morning”

Therapeutic Approach:
Using Behavioural Activation and Narrative Therapy, Samar rediscovered parts of himself he had suppressed. We worked on micro-goals, self-compassion, and restructuring his daily routines.
Outcome
He returned to painting, resumed walks, and reported an improvement in mood and motivation. His PHQ-9 score reduced significantly over 8 weeks.
